Application:
These chamber are used to study the deterioration in painted films when put under exposure to salt solution & to test the corrosion resistance of protective coating of on ferrous & non ferrous material.

The apparatus consists of Perspex chemically inert container (Acrylic) with a close fitting cover in which a fine mist of the spray solution is produced through an atomizer.

Panels supported on non metallic supports with the test face upwards at our angle of 158to the vertical are evenly located with droplets of solutions.

The salt spray is prevented from impinging directly on the test faces of the panels.

The panels are equally placed at a distance of 20mm from each other as well as from the walls.

Salt solution from the panels are not re-circulated.

The chamber has gable type cover.

The spray nozzle is also of the inert material & placed in front of the deflector plate.
